Artist in Residence at Old Faithful June 2023

I am pleased to announce that I will be Artist in Residence at the Old Faithful Inn from June 16th through the 25th. This is the first time in several years that I will have the honor of displaying and selling my artwork there. I was Guest Artist in 2009 for a couple weeks and then did several weekend shows for a couple years after that. So I’m really looking forward to being at Old Faithful again.

Another addition to “Katie’s Collection”

Here is a 10″ w X 8″ h painting of Marigolds. I painted this in the medium of acrylic on a wrap around canvas.

I have to tell you a funny about marigolds. When we lived for a short time in Havre, Mt I really wasn’t into flowers. Well as I was mowing the yard, I proceeded to mow down all the marigolds that were in our front yard of our house. I told my sister what I had done and she LOVED flowers so she really had a fit on me. WE now plant quite a few marigolds and NO I don’t mow them down.

 A great Mother’s Day gift!

“Feeding Time”

Again this year, I will have an original painting in the live auction at the South Dakota Cattlemen’s Foundation Prime Time Gala. This event takes place at the Sioux Falls Convention Center on June 22, 2019. All proceeds from the concert, gala auction and truck raffle will support Feeding South Dakota  as well as their scholarship program. This painting is entitled “Feeding Time.” The image size is a 12″ W X 24″ H acrylic painting. The pictures I worked from were from my nephew, Andy, from the family farm.
