Triple Play

Traffic jams are no surprise in Yellowstone! But as we traveled home after doing a weekend art show at Old Faithful Inn some years ago, we were blessed with this specific bear jam. It just so happened to be my birthday too. All weekend, visitors had shared seeing Mama Bear #399 and her three little clubs and I was bemoaning the fact that I had never seen them in person. Well, the Lord blessed me with a special birthday gift I will never forget! I got to stand with many other people and become the “animal paparazzi” getting some great photos of #399 and her cubs. The cubs were putting on quite a show for us! The three of them were playing, fighting and not listening to Mama Bear, seemingly oblivious to the growing, watching audience.
